New Angles: daily inspiration

Spanish rug manufacturer Nanimarquina‘s colourful booth attracted a lot of attention at the Salone. I spoke to the people behind the brand and they explained that Nanimarquina is a Care&Fair member (all rugs are manufactured without using child labour), which made me appreciate their products even more!
The rugs are available in rich, exotic colours, although neutral colours are also available. I especially liked the contemporary take on ethnic patterns.

Mixing different ethnic styles with a bit of 50’s design just works… Caravane proves that Turkish daybeds, Berber rugs, kidney-shaped coffee tables and lamps by Serge Mouille go well together.

I especially like how the lighter fabrics make it all much more airy. It’s really like these pictures were taken in a modern version of a nomadic tent near an oasis.

Caravane has three stores in Paris. It’s dedicated to the urban, cosmopolitan shopper with the ideas of tranquility, relaxation and well-being in mind.
