New Angles: daily inspiration

More retro – Lyfa

Posted in interiors, lighting by menno1976 on September 17, 2009

Last week I showed you some of my favourite Dutch Raak lamps, today I wanted to share these pictures of the Danish brand Lyfa with you.

Lyfa was established as Københavns Lampe Og Lysekronefabrik at the beginning of the 20th century. In the 30’s the name was abbreviated to Lyfa.
During the 50’s to the 70’s Lyfa employed various architects and designers such as Louis Weisdorf, Piet Hein and Claus Bonderup.
