Ceramics is one of my passions and when I saw this ceramicist’s work, I felt a bit jealous of his ability to create those clean lines, the smoothest bone china and the metallic glazes. Ryota Aoki, born in Toyama Prefecture, Japan, says that it took him six years to reach this level of accomplishment:
